Rediffmail is the India-based email service from Rediff.com
Rediff.com is a website that provides features such as a search
engine, news, sports, entertainment and business news specially suited for
users in India.
It is described by The Industry Measure as "India's leading independent
Internet portal." Rediff.com also allows users to sign up for Rediffmail,
its email provider. Rediffmail is a free email service and offers unlimited
storage space. Signing up takes only a few minutes through the Rediff home
page.
Instructions
Open your Internet browser, and go to the Rediff.com homepage. 
Click on the "Rediffmail" icon near the bottom left of the screen. At the bottom of the pop-up frame, click "Create a New Account." Enter your name in the "Full Name" text field. Type your chosen Rediffmail ID in the text field marked "Choose a Rediffmail ID," and click the "Check Availability" button to make sure the ID is available. If it is not available, check a different ID you would like to use until you find one that is available. 
Enter your chosen password in both the "Password" and "Retype Password" text fields. Enter an alternate email address in the text field below in case you forget your password and need it emailed to you. Alternatively, select the checkbox marked "Click if you don't have an alternate ID." Select your birthday using the drop-down menus, and select your gender. Use the drop-down menus below to enter the country and city you live in. - Enter the text shown in the Captcha image into the text field marked "Enter the text shown above."
- Click the "Create My Account" button. On the next page, click "Go To Inbox."
